My Dear ASUS,
Thank you for the 7 years, 11 months, and 5 days of efficient service you have rendered. I will be forever grateful to you.
Thank you for keeping me company during my sleepless nights, especially when I was sad, down, helpless, or under pressure with deadlines or scheduled classroom observations.
Thank you for filling the somewhat lonely and empty spaces in my life, especially at night. You were a silent witness to how I coped with my heartaches, pains, miseries, and agonies, as well as my successes and moments of joy.
You were there when I was simply exploring the internet, chatting with loved ones, or reconnecting with online friends—both personal and professional, near and far.
You were always by my side as I worked on endless documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Thank you for helping me create hundreds of documents, sheets, slides, and movie clips through our collaborative efforts. Although there were times when you weren’t so cooperative (maybe because you were just as tired and weary as I was), we always pulled through and ended up happy when the work was done—often at the wee hours or just before dawn.
Thank you for inspiring me to write numerous blogs about my family, my daily life, my work, and my random thoughts. Without you, I would have had no outlet to regularly pour out my emotions, frustrations, and moments of melancholy.
Thank you for storing hundreds of lesson plans, presentations (both PowerPoint and Macromedia), songs, and thousands of photos. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to back up the newer files... :(
And lastly, thank you for being a part of the numerous awards I’ve received, the highest of which was the Hall of Fame Award for the Most Innovative Integration of Technology in the Classroom.
Molcis
